When renowned lingerie brand Agent Provocateur debuted a sister label with Monica and Penelope Cruz back in , we all knew it would be destined for big things. We looked at a lot of Marilyn imagery; she is just the ultimate sexy pin-up I think, but she also had an edginess that was really interesting to explore. Then for the look book we took a lot of inspiration from the s and pulled references from films like Almost Famous.

I love Kate Hudson's look in that film. How has the brand developed over the past two years?

And we are growing with the brand. We have done a number of collaborations with different labels, but this is the first one that has really felt like our own, as we have been involved with the concept right from the very beginning. It was also our first time designing lingerie, and both Monica and I have been huge fans of Agent Provocateur for a long time.

We are learning so much from Sarah [Shotton, creative director of Agent Provocateur] and the amazing team. When we first launched, we were wholesale only, but we now have our own stores, in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal and London, which is so exciting. And L'Agent now features swimwear, as well as the seasonal and classic collections.
